FaanG lança, pela primeira vez, o seu álbum de estúdio após o sucesso de “Prism”, seu primeiro single. O cantor, produtor e compositor traz, em Shades, faixas exclusivas que fez em colaboração com produtores e outros artistas que o ajudaram a enriquecer o álbum com diversos sentimentos.
Shades, vindo da palavra em inglês, significa “tons” ou “sombras”, ao mesmo tempo em que tem um significado similar à frase “throw a shade”, que se assemelha ao termo “jogar uma indireta”. Cada faixa do álbum conta uma história e descreve a respeito de um alguém e vários sentimentos, que em muitas das vezes, são marcados por cores, seres ou até mesmo frutas, trazendo, de forma lúdica, as lembranças que carregam.
