Obrigada, Leo, eu adorei!
- first verse -
You know now she's back in town, it's not a normal day
Everybody is talking about but no one's seeing it
She's like a reckless spark, she's faster than the wind
They run, she stay
- second verse -
The corners talks that she has been in all the United States
With just a guitar and a dream, oh why she's backing here?
Let me tell my story myself, don't need to be afraid
Don't run, I'Il stay
- chorus -
I've been on the crossroads
On a hell road
On a angry world
I'Il stay
I've been on the crossroads
On a hell road
On a angry world
I'Il stay
- third verse -
I learned to walk with weights on my shins, in high heels, look at them
I woke up in a country where no one will hold my hand
Well, nothing can bring you down if you just win again
Oh, lord, don't grieve, I'm fine just like this
- chorus -
I've been on the crossroads
On a hell road
On a angry world
I'Il stay
I've been on the crossroads
On a hell road
On a angry world
I'Il stay
- bridge -
I'm still paying my bills, so let's just make a deal
To clear all the ways
This town is also mine, and I can live my life
And you don't have to say
Cause' a girl will control her own pace
Cause' a girl will control her own pace
- chorus -
I've been on the crossroads
On a hell road
On a angry world
I'Il stay
I've been on the crossroads
On a hell road
On a angry world
I'Il stay
02. Mother Road

- first verse -
I arrived at the intersection
Encountered peculiar individuals managing an affordable inn
Every hushed conversation echoed through the room partitions
An ambiance akin to a confined space emerged
Crafted a melody inspired by a dream
The dinner bell chimed in the midst of my creative spell
Upon entering, cheers and exclamations erupted
Proclaiming, "Dear, you're on a one-way journey to the hell"
- chorus -
Straight to Mother Road
Once again searching something new
'Cause you know about me, and I know about you
Can I lean on your shoulder, Mama?
You've been run over too
Until my feet find the ground, yeah
Wherеver I'm headed
Mama, don't let it be down, yeah
- second verse -
I veered off course to explore the crater
The sky roared with untamed fury
Guiding my car like a rocket launching into the expansive horizon
Down the sunset straightaway, I sped with determination
A boundless sensation envelops me
As I grip the wheel with an indescribable zeal
Only I comprehend the extent of how far I'm destined to go-go-go
- chorus -
Straight to Mother Road
Once again searching something new
'Cause you know about me, and I know about you
Can I lean on your shoulder, Mama?
You've been run over too
Until my feet find the ground, yeah
Wherеver I'm headed
Mama, don't let it be down, yeah
- post-chorus -
Oh, she won't never let me, let me, let me
Let me down, Mama
- bridge -
Uncertain if the day of inner peace will ever dawn
I continue down this tumultuous highway
Yet, with each mile, I sense proximity like never before, yeah-yeah
- third verse -
Caught in Oklahoma, drivin' too fast
I felt my world slow down
And I made my confession to the highway patrol
I said, "I was lost but now I'm finally found"
Well, she gave me a ticket anyway
And I didn't put up a fight
'Cause I've driven a million miles, lived a million lives
Now Mama's headed home tonight
- chorus -
Straight to Mother Road
Once again searching something new
'Cause you know about me, and I know about you
Can I lean on your shoulder, Mama?
You've been run over too
Until my feet find the ground, yeah
Wherеver I'm headed
Mama, don't let it be down, yeah
- outro -
Our paths will cross again
(Mama, hope it's not down) Down that road
I'll be navigating the untamed trail somewhere out there (Mama, hope it's not down)
Through Tucumcari, Romeoville, Amarillo
Searching, searching, searching for whatever I'm seeking
I'll discover it along The Mother Road, yeah
03. It All Comes Out In The Wash
Um pouco sobre "It All Comes Out In The Wash".

- first verse -
If you go to wear white in a wedding
And when you get to the church you regret It
You see that you and the bride is on white
And your sister is the husband ex-wife
When the waiter brings a juicy cup or two
Then he let it fall down all over you
Mind your dress will forever be ruined
Pay attention to your next move
- chorus -
'Cause It all comes out, all comes out in the wash
Yeah It all comes out, all comes out in the wash
Every little stain and broken heart
No matter what mess is left
Throw your sins, your old lovers in the machine
And watch it all get spun
Watch it all get spun, yeah
- second verse -
In a couple's fight, it is common to happen
You might say something you can't forget
Drinking some wine can help sustain
Unless in the end you let your clothes stain
If you have a portion of fries ready to go
And out of nowhere you pass through a bumpy road
You can end up with some ketchup on your clothes
Do swear it, a tide stick will get it.
- chorus -
'Cause It all comes out, all comes out in the wash
Yeah It all comes out, all comes out in the wash
Every little stain and broken heart
No matter what mess is left
Throw your sins, your old lovers in the machine
And watch it all get spun
Watch it all get spun, yeah
- third verse -
What if the guy doesn't stop calling you
Not even when you go to work
You have to answer to make him stop
But that won't please your boss, will it?
When you get home you see his photos on the internet
And, oh, what a surprise, he's with someone else
The next thing you know, there's mascara all over your clothes
You're lost, that was your uniform
(Spin it!)
- chorus -
It'll all comes out, all comes out in the wash
It'll all comes out, all comes out in the wash
Every little stain and broken heart
No matter what mess is left
Throw your sins, your old lovers in the machine
And watch it all get spun
Watch it all get spun, yeah
- bridge -
While the pile of clothes doesn't seem to end
A brand new dress has just arrived
To be thrown away after a failed night with a bottle of wine
Keep your mistakes and thoughtless attitudes in the basket
Believe me, it's better when it's spinning
- chorus -
'Cause It all comes out, all comes out in the wash
Yeah It all comes out, all comes out in the wash
Every little stain and broken heart
No matter what mess is left
Throw your sins, your old lovers in the machine
And watch it all get spun
Watch it all get spun, yeah
- outro -
Yeah, you watch it all get spun
And around and around and around and around we go
'Round and around and around and around we go
04. The Worst Part Of Me (Ft. Caleb Roth)
Um pouco sobre "The Worst Part Of Me".
- first verse -
Here I am, where will I stay safe from your lies
Today I sleep peacefully, knowing that I tried
I tried to make my bed, and you stole it from me
I know people ask about what we used to be
Huh
- second verse -
Well, I couldn't keep up with your quirks and mannerisms
I made a new version of myself, in the name of love
Your friends are just hippies guys who talk too loud
I would rather be sitting in the corner than be bored
- chorus -
But now that we're done and it's over
I couldn't feel more free
You will realize when you're older
That you'll never be happy
Because you were the worst part of me
- third verse -
You grew up without knowing the slightest sense of humility
Pompous and cunning, as if you lived in the hills
You know how the world works, and I'm not on the dance floor
Just living one day at a time, enjoying my cheap thrills
- fourth verse -
But you know what they say, you can't choose who you fall for
But every night I think, how could I be so dumb?
In a reality check, I saw our differences
It was never about me, this love has become old
- chorus -
Don't call me back, I won't listen
Disappear with the space you asked to me
You will realize when you're lonely
That you'll never be happy
Because you were the worst part of me
- hook -
You were the worst part of me, yeah
You were the worst part of me
- bridge -
Oh, woah, please just don't freak out
Everyone must think you're dumb for letting me go
And I hope you're really sad
Rest eternally in your low misery, it's all you have
You can go to Paris, or even Seoul
But nothing will fill the void in your soul
Your unattainable statuses meant nothing to me
'Cause none of that mattered, in the time you were free
- pre-chorus -
But now that we're done and it's over
I couldn't feel more free
You will realize when you're older
That you'll never be happy
Because you were the worst part of me
- chorus -
You were the worst part of me, I said out loud
I'll go to all those places you never took me
You were the worst part of me, in your house
With your bad manners and one hundred million doubts
- outro -
You were the worst part of me
When you say: oh my God she's insane
She is about to leave me
You were the worst part of me
05. California Stars

- first verse -
I've had my picture taken with famous faces
Stayed in fancy hotels, swimming in pool oasis
Driven through landscapes where cactus grow tall
Under Mount Rushmore, I'm feeling so small
I've gone past the limits of bustling Austin city
For a moment, maybe, my ego grew too big and pretty
But deep down, I'm just a simple cowgirl at heart
Rooted in my country roots, a place that sets me apart
- chorus -
I'm just a dime store cowgirl
I stay true to my core
No matter where the hell I wander
My country soul will surely endure
Cause I'm still that girl from a Golden town
I had to venture out, find my own ground
No matter where the hell I'll go around
I'll always call my hometown, home
I'll always call my hometown, home
- second verse -
I've slept in rooms where Gram Parsons' spirit lingers
Drank wine beyond my means, living like risk-takers
Visited San Antonio, walked the riverwalk and rodeo
Seen the white cliffs of Dover from the shore's glow
And I found a kinda fell in love in a Palm Springs trailer park
But those California stars couldn't steal my heart
- chorus -
I'm just a dime store cowgirl
I stay true to my core
No matter where the hell I wander
My country soul will surely endure
Cause I'm still that girl from a Golden town
I had to venture out, find my own ground
No matter where the hell I'll go around
I'll always call my hometown, home
I'll always call my hometown, home
- bridge -
I'm happy with all I've got
'Caus that's the all things that I need
Just because it's cost a dime, cost a dime
Don't mean it's cheap
Oh, no, no.
- chorus -
I'm just a dime store cowgirl
I stay true to my core
No matter where the hell I wander
My country soul will surely endure
Cause I'm still that girl from a Golden town
I had to venture out, find my own ground
No matter where the hell I'll go around
I'll always call my hometown, home
I'll always call my hometown, home
- outro -
I'll always call my hometown, home
06. You Wouldn't Know Me
Um pouco sobre "You Wouldn't Know Me".

- chorus -
I bet you wouldn't know me if you didn't see me now
I'll never wake up at your door again
You're a ghost of a memory I once loved
A chapter from my book of the life I've been through
I move on because I'm over you
- first verse -
You never let me move forward, you left me on the shelf gathering dust
My life was full of stop signs
Let's be honest, darling, have pity
You're reaping what you've been sowing, so get ready
'Cause these boots were made for walking
I feel the fire in my wings burning
I'm still looking for a new home
- chorus -
I bet you wouldn't know me if you didn't see me now
I'll never wake up at your door again
You're a ghost of a memory I once loved
A chapter from my book of the life I've been through
I move on because I'm over you
That's what I said
- second verse -
What's happening to you, my friend?
I would rather hear a thousand bad news than know what's happening to you
So look deep into my eyes, be honest and don't lie
Promise you'll get out of my life
- chorus -
And I bet that
You wouldn't know me if you didn't see me now
I'll never wake up at your door again
You're a ghost of a memory I once loved
A chapter from my book of the life I've been through
I move on because I'm over you
- outro -
You wouldn't know me
You wouldn't know me
That's what I said!
07. Interstate Gospel

- first verse -
This happened on a Sunday
I apologize to the choir
For a moment I was out of grace
And I burst into tears to cry
In three days came my resurrection
When the car hits the road at night
I turn the windows down and the sound hell high
- chorus -
Can I get a hallelujah?
Can I hear an amen?
You feel all these joy runnin' through ya
When the music on the highway kicks in
I wish I could press redial
So I could hear to one more song
In my interstate gospel, the travel goes
- second verse -
When Roth brings 'emotion'
And 'Kevin' makes me cry
That's when 'Win For Us' is burning
Down to the riverside
When the path seems too long and bumpy
And all I ever need is a break
I just keep the wheels rolling, radio scrolling
Until my sins wash away
- chorus -
Can I get a hallelujah?
Can I hear an amen?
You feel all these joy runnin' through ya
When the music on the highway kicks in
I wish I could press redial
So I could hear to one more song
In my interstate gospel, the travel goes
- bridge -
Can I get a hallelujah?
Can I hear an amen?
You feel all these joy runnin' through ya
When the music on the highway kicks in
I wish I could press redial
So I could hear to one more song
In my interstate gospel, the travel goes
- chorus -
Hey, can I get a hallelujah?
Can I hear an amen?
You feel all these joy runnin' through ya
When the music on the highway kicks in
I wish I could press redial
So I could hear to one more song
In my interstate gospel, the travel goes
- outro -
In my interstate gospel, the travel goes
In my interstate gospel, the travel goes
08. Mexico Mountains

- first verse -
I found a postcard from long ago
In a drawyer yesterday
Come back to Tucson, I miss you do
I was warm here, but not today
- second verse -
Nothern rockier all deep in the snow
Clearing down to the Sangre de Cristo
Baby, blue mountains of Mexico
Will be always alone, alone
Still out ther on our own
- chorus -
Time is like money, just disappears
No one knows where it gles
You just spend it so recklessly
When you've got nothing but time
Warm sub on adobe walls
We kissed in the desert dawn
Baby, blue mountains of Mexico
Will be always alone, alone
Still out ther on our own
- third verse -
If we meet down the road somewhere
Would we know what to say or
Has the river flower too many miles?
Now we're too far away
To get lightening back in a bottle
For a while
- bridge -
Old lovers trying to stop the hands of time
Baby, blue mountains of Mexico
Will be always alone, alone
Still out ther on our own
- chorus -
Time is like money, just disappears
No one knows where it gles
You just spend it so recklessly
When you've got nothing but time
Warm sub on adobe walls
We kissed in the desert dawn
Baby, blue mountains of Mexico
Will be always alone, alone
Still out ther on our own
09. Truck Stop Angels (Ft. Agatha Melina)

- first verse -
There's a big sky up above me
There's a wasteland down below
There's a long black snake of highway
Take you where you wanna go
One day I'm gonna leave here
Gonna hit my lucky streak
Gonna spread my gorgeous wings and fly
Above all this concrete
- chorus -
I meet my destiny in the truckstops
I meet my feelings at the bar
I meet my baby in the parking lots
And I slip into their cars
They come and put their money down
They come and place their bets
I swallow their indifference
But I choke on my regrets
- second verse -
Sometimes they ask me questions
Sometimes they treat me nice
You don't know what you'll get
Until you roll the dice
You're a loser or a winner here
Predator or prey
I'm still not sure which one I am
Or how I got this way
- chorus -
I meet my destiny in the truckstops
I meet my feelings at the bar
I meet my baby in the parking lots
And I slip into their cars
They come and put their money down
They come and place their bets
I swallow their indifference
But I choke on my regrets
- third verse agatha -
And I am the angel hauntingly singing
You can't hear me but I'm gloomily weeping
Just beholding everyone that comes and leaves
All of the good guys and all of the heart thieves
I learned by living here that no one can see me
That's the darkest and purest loneliness feeling
A long road stretches before my eyes
But I still can't take it even after a million tries
Silently approaching the edge of the life
Though this old truckstop never dies
- bridge -
And it's hard to hear the angels
Over the diesels’ hum
But I know they're out there singing
And I'll know them when they come
And I'll rise above the neon
Above this trailer park
And fly like a truckstop angel
With an arrow through my heart
And fly like a truckstop angel
With an arrow through my heart
- chorus -
I meet my destiny in the truckstops
I meet my feelings at the bar
I meet my baby in the parking lots
And I slip into their cars
They come and put their money down
They come and place their bets
I swallow their indifference
But I choke on my regrets
10. Peace

- first verse -
All the words you said to me will be saved
All the laughs, all the magical moments we experienced in our past conversations
I remember how it all ended, I remember how it all ended
Today it was a text message asking not to insist on it
Yesterday, it was an I love you asking me to never leave your life
Was it all just a lie?
- second verse -
You should have known that it would destroy me, that it would leave a mark
Your forever and ever little time lasted
For pathetic reasons, for reasons that should not be remembered
The same mouth that said it would never let me go
It was the same one who, at the bottom of the most bitter void, decided to throw me
- pre-chorus -
On a sunny morning everything could be perfect
I put our song on, and you, the most real and beautiful thing, decided to end it
- chorus -
I hope this way you find your peace
If your decision has already been made, all I can do is accept
Without pushing the envelope, without asking for a new chance
I hope people like me don't cross your path again
But I wish someone loved you like I did
I hope you find someone who makes you believe in love, someone who makes your friends value you
If your peace you lost,
If your peace you're struggling to find
My little baby, go ahead, I won't hinder you anymore
- third verse -
We were the opposite of each other,
But I thought that was just a detail
Different opinions I thought would complement, that would help us
All the advice I gave you,
All the feelings I showed
I wanted to make you a better person, I wanted to put a smile on you
But I guess as always, I was just getting in the way
And your words of thanks that made me so happy
It was nothing more than a simple act
Maybe I was foolish, to feed that in my heart,
With music it began, with music it ended
Today I cry, but I wanted to cry by your side
Today I scream, because I know that in my tomorrow you will appear
But how could someone like you love someone like me?
I gave you all my love, but from one day to the next you gave me resentment
- bridge -
If I could go back in time, I would ask you if you really wanted a friendship
To not carry the guilt that I was perhaps forcing you to stay,
Forcing you to continue
- chorus -
I hope you find your peace this way
If your decision has already been made,
all I can do is accept
Without pushing the envelope, without asking for a new chance
I hope people like me don't cross your path again
But I wish someone loved you like I did
Someone who makes you believe in love, someone who makes your friends value you
If your peace you've lost, if your peace you're struggling to find
My little baby, go ahead, I won't hinder you anymore
- outro -
His last words were that it would be better this way, but,
Who would it be better for?
Baby, I always thought about you then,
Because at that moment,
Didn't you think of me?
11. Traveler
- first verse -
I follow the changing of the seasons, each time in a new city
Always in the middle of a crowd, surrounded by people and always alone, sometimes on a beach
Sometimes on a mountain, but never still
Always me and my conscience, my personal reflection, in an infinite search for something I don't know
And my heart yearns for it more and more
- chorus -
I am a traveler on this earth
Always ready to experience the loves and sweet sensations that life can give me
Never expecting that one day I'll taste the pain of departure
My destiny is as uncertain as the new dawn
Will the sun rise the next day? Are the stars still there?
You ask me where I'm going, but I can't tell you
Because every time I choose a road
Two others open up for me
I'm a traveler on this earth
- second verse -
Sometimes I'm thrown into loneliness
The only thing I hear is my heartbeat
It's the price I pay for never clinging
To nothing that could stop me from traveling
Always in my fashionable boots and cowboy hat
Never lost, always in search, that's how you live
- chorus -
I am a traveler on this earth
Always ready to experience the loves and sweet sensations that life can give me
Never expecting that one day I'll taste the pain of departure
My destiny is as uncertain as the new dawn
Will the sun rise the next day? Are the stars still there?
You ask me where I'm going, but I can't tell you
Because every time I choose a road
Two others open up for me
I'm a traveler on this earth
- bridge -
May the hope in me never be extinguished
I feel in my spirit that this is what I came into this world for
Because I'm happy when I'm on the road
Enjoying the chances that life has chosen to give me
For at the end of it all, it's never about the destination
It's always the chosen path
- chorus -
I am a traveler on this earth
Always ready to experience the loves and sweet sensations that life can give me
Never expecting that one day I'll taste the pain of departure
My destiny is as uncertain as the new dawn
Will the sun rise the next day? Are the stars still there?
You ask me where I'm going, but I can't tell you
Because every time I choose a road
Two others open up for me
I'm a traveler on this earth

- first verse -
From all the angles, guess I know a lot about life
I could see from both sides
I've been keeping my dreams in my sight
Running from bending minds
I grew with "don't be naive but kind"
I keep my dad's precious advices
- hook -
Well he, said "tu limite es la luna"
Oh, la luna
- second verse -
Now I'm driving home that once was mine
Spent my days on route 59'
Hug my mother after all those years so far
Weird folks, pear pie
Now and then roots are the same as before
I go back to my accent only we could know
- chorus -
There's me, saying "love you hasta la luna"
Oh la luna, oh la luna
Old me, saying "love you hasta la luna"
- third verse -
From all the angles, life always brings me back
There's no "what if?" or even "how?"
You wish you could but you're not far from your past
Welcome, hometown
I can't explain but Mexico is all I feel
It's a real need like I belong in these hills
Over there, this whole world could be your home
- outro -
Believe, oh, this girl can reach la luna
Believe, oh, this girl can reach la luna
Believe, this woman will reach la luna
La luna
